and dance, featuring Dhananjayans (Dance), Anil Srinivasan (Piano), Sikhil
Gurucharan (Vocal).

Remembering
and paying humble tributes to KRISHNAVENI LAKSHMAN on the historic day.
An exclusive Naatya Nivedanam was offered by "Padmabushan" Shanta Dhananjayan
and lineage of Krishnaveni Lakshman - Gayatri & Balagurunathan (daughter
& disciple), at Sri Rathnagirishwarar temple, Besant Nagar, on Wednesday,
13th January, 2010, at 6.30 p.m.

Lakshman and Shanta Dhananjayan did their Arangetram together at Kalakshetra,
on 13th January, 1960, in the presence of the great musicologist Prof.
Sambamurthy & great Legend Rukminidevi Arundale. On the fortieth anniversary
day both of them performed together in front of thousands of their admirers
and connoisseurs at Varasiddhi Vinayakar Koil, Besant Nagar.
