Swami  Sandeep Chaitanya (disciple of Swami Chinmayananda) will be guiding the students in the spiritual aspects of Bhagavad Gita.

Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation commemorated the 50th year Bharatanaatyam Arangetram of the late legend Krishanveni Lakshman & the living legend Shanta Dhananjayan at an exclusive “Visesha Arangam” of the 47th Kala Poshakam. 

 

Remembering and paying humble tributes to KRISHNAVENI LAKSHMAN on the historic day. An exclusive Naatya Nivedanam was offered by "Padmabushan" Shanta Dhananjayan and lineage of Krishnaveni Lakshman - Gayatri & Balagurunathan (daughter & disciple), at Sri Rathnagirishwarar temple, Besant Nagar, on Wednesday, 13th January, 2010, at 6.30 p.m.

Krishnaveni Lakshman and Shanta Dhananjayan did their Arangetram together at Kalakshetra, on 13th January, 1960, in the presence of the great musicologist Prof. Sambamurthy & great Legend Rukminidevi Arundale. On the fortieth anniversary day both of them performed together in front of thousands of their admirers and connoisseurs at Varasiddhi Vinayakar Koil, Besant Nagar.
