A fairly good
connoisseur crowd on a Sunday morning at Raagasudha hall, Mylapore
cheered Swathi Soft solutions for launching a unique audio CD "Sangeeta
Lahari".
Vidwan T.V. Gopalakrishnan
released the CD and Vidushi Smt. Nandini Ramani received the first copy.
Both complimented Sri V.P. Dhananjayan who penned the songs and composed
music too and the famed Carnatic and play back singer P.Unnikrishnan doing
justice to the compositions by his evocative rendering.
Nandini Ramani - scholar and critic - commented that Dhananjayan has composed the songs
suitable for concert singing as well as very appropriately wording them
for Naatya choreography. "A good marketing idea indeed" she said.
Sriramkumar
(Violin), K.V.Prasad (Mridangam), Karthik (Ghatam) lend great support to
Unnikrishnan to enhance the quality of the Music with Madhu Viswanathan
doing an excellent job of mixing and editing.
Unnikrishnan
rendered a few songs from the CD and Divya Shivasundar performed the Padavarnam
in Nrityopahaaram format for the delight of the Rasikas.
Dhananjayan
complimented Mr. Sudhakar of Swathi Soft Solutions for the Company's selfless
service to the classical arts.
