Fine Arts Club inaugurated
The Hindu, Chennai, October 10, 2011
In an effort to provide a platform for students from all departments to
exhibit their talent, the Fine Arts Club of the University of Madras was
inaugurated recently.
“Art bring hearts together,” said Bharatnatyam exponent V.P. Dhananjayan
in his special address. “There are many artists in India and very
limited platforms. The equipped Fine Arts club of the University of
Madras should strive to provide a good platform to the thousands of
students here,” he said.

- Sudha
Jagannathan
During a
conversation over coffee
at the Rasam Restaurant
here on the cool morning
of January 8, 2010, this
dance duo allowed a
preview of their minds
as they opened their
hearts out and shared
their thoughts. There
was harmony in their
thinking. There was
convergence in their
articulation. There was
conviction in their
words.

Life spent
dancing
- Tulsi
Badrinath, Deccan
Chronicle, January
9, 2011
Rasikas
curious to know more
about the intricacies of
a life immersed in dance
had a wonderful morning
with V.P.Dhananjayan and
his wife Shantha at a
coffee session at Rasam
restaurant. If
Dhananjayan explained
one aspect of a
particular truth,
Shantha elaborated on
another aspect with the
same shared
understanding and
instinct for timing that
is evident in their
performances and in
their daily life as a
couple.
