SOME SPECIAL PERFORMANCES
1988
The Dhananjayans performed at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan for the President of India along with their son Satyajit who was 14 at that time.

1986
Turaiyur Rajagopala Sarma was an accomplished Carnatic musician, but few were then aware of his capacity to compose excellent pieces for dance. Sarma was the guiding spirit for many of Bharata Kalanjali�s productions. As a memorial to their mentor who passed away on April 11, 1986, the Dhananjayans presented their homage in Bharatanaatyam to Rajagopala Sarma on April 14, 1986 on Tamil New Years day at the Music Academy, by performing some of his compositions.

1981
Special performance for Mr.Karl Carstens, President of the Federal Republic of Germany on March 4, 1981.

1980
Participated in the first Natyanjali dance festival at Chidambaram temple sponsored by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as well as in many festivals in subsequent years.
